10 reasons why I would not want to live in Panem

1. The dystopia:  In Panem there is only one person who has got wole Panem in his hands and  I couldn´t imagine having a single person on the top of my state who could  ruin the life of a milion people.
2. The Games: It´s every year the same: At the reaping day all people of your district get together at one place, all your friends, your brothers and sisters and everyone fears who will be the next to die; maybe you will be the next? Even the thougt of it is horrible.
3. In the districts the Capitol has eyes and ears everywhere. The peacekeepers watch everything you do and if it´s not right in their opinion, a hovercraft comes and maybe you get killed or you get a slave in the Capitol. You have no freedom at all and aren´t allowed to do what you want.
4. In Panem nobody cares if you are dead or you live or have nothing to eat. The people get not enough food to feed their families and themselves and even starve to death but the Capitol doesn´t help, but does the opposite: It takes the money of the districts and let the people work to death. Nothing gets better.
5. Unfairness: The people in the Capitol get everything they want but in the districts they have for examle just two or three hours of elecricy.
6. In the districts you have no free-time, you have to work the whole day to get enough money to feed your family. The work in the districts is very hard. For example in district 12 most of the people work in the mines. This work makes many people ill and the workers risk their lives because there are dangerous explosions. Katniss´ father died in the mines, too.
7. You have no childhood because many of the kids have to start working early and many of them break up school, too because they have to take care of their families.
8. You have to make your own deal and don´t get help from anyone. I wouldn´t survive long in Panem because I couldn´t work in the mines. I´m sure I would die after two months. If I had a chance to survive it would be hunting illegaly in the woods with bow and arrows like Katniss.  
9. In the districts you aren´t allowed to say what you want so if I would live there I would have big problems with giving my opinion about the state.
10. In Panem the people live in a strange way because there are cameras and TVs but Katniss is hunting with a bow. I couldn´t live with a mix of two very different centuries ( maybe it´s like the 20th century and two centuries before Christ).
