A really great and worth reading book!! My personal thoughts and impressions about the novel "The Hunger Games" :
First of all I have to say that I liked to read the book very much because it wasn't boring like many other
books I have read in school before. It is also very good to read a new and a modern book like this because
we all, I think so, heard about it and I wanted to know about the end and what does this hunger games mean. I also think that the idea of the story is very special and I have never heard about something like this before I read the book. But I think that it isn't that much easy, I thought before I began to read the book, to understand everything and read it only in a few days. I also didn't know every word, which is normal, but it took much time to carve the meaning only with the situation out. After I had finished the book, it was a little bit difficult to throw all my thoughts about Katniss, Peeta and Gale out of my head.
My personal strategy I used to read the book and which I would recommend to you, is that I read every day
a few chapters and after every chapter I wrote the most important keywords and informations down.
What I especially like is that this book has many difficult situations were you must think about it to understand. You also only know what Katniss knows, because she is the narrator, so it only becomes clear if Katniss thinks about it and tells it so to us.
For me, the most interesting thing is the relationship between Peeta, Gale and Katniss and I think it would be very interesting to talk with the class about this. I am relative sure that everybody has a other opinion or
something other to tell abou this. This is also what I thought most time about, because I wanted to know how Gale felt about the kiss between Katniss and Peeta in the arena and how he felt when he saw the two on the TV in district 12.
I hope I haven't done to much mistakes and you understood most I wanted to say.
