Gale doesn’t appear very often in the first book but anyway I am team Gale!
I would say
he influenced Katniss’ developing in hunting. He taught her how to do snares
and they both learned hunting from each other. Katniss also trained how to
survive and behave in the woods. This was a big help while the Games and one
reason why she won them.
They both
always shared their kills so that none of their families had to suffer from
hunger. I guess this is a big deal if you are living in the Seam. So you can see they already have a tight relationship.
During the
first book you were able to read how confused Katniss was about Gale. She
actually sees him as a good friend and fells like a brother about him. But
there was always a side in her that wondered if Gale wants to be more than just good
friends.
Many guys
in school spoiled me and told me that Gale will become bad and would kill
Katniss in the twinkling of an eye. But I haven’t read the second book yet
therefore I can’t count this on my opinion.
Another
reason why I have chosen Gale was actually because if I had to choose one of them
it would be Gale. He seems to be masculine, even his name sounds like it.
In contrast
Peeta seems to me like a wimp, I don’t know why. Well, he has done much for
Katniss but in my point of view she needs someone who can protect her and make
her feel safe. I wouldn’t say Peeta would be able to do this.
So this is why I am Team Gale!

Hello AG
ReplyDeleteI really like your comment, altough you are in the wrong team. ;)
I understand your arguments but you don't know how Gale's character changes in the following parts. If you read them you will change your opinion ... I am sure!
"He seems to be masculine, even his name sounds like it" This part is very funny
--> You know what I mean! ;D
