Panem - a world that violates all different forms of human and children´s rights - Why human rights are therefore important
Our world has many human and children´s rights, so that all people live in safety and freedom. But Panem violates all these rights because...
... there were sent two children of one district into an arena, in order to kill the other tributes/children
=> violation of the right to physical inviolability
... when anybody says something against the government or the Capitol, than they will be killed
=> violation of the right of speech
... the Capitol gives not every district enough food, so they will be hungry
=> violation of the right to life and freedom
In my opinion the problem could be resolved very easy:
If the human rights existed before the rebellion, it wouldn´t give the rebellion and the hunger games.
Hey AKR!
ReplyDeleteI really liked that you're comment is about this topic because almost every other comment is about "10 reasons why I don't want to live in Panem" :)
I also liked your start and I think you mentioned the most important infringements upon human rights.
It is great that you also tried to find a solution but since "Panem" takes place in the future I think the human rights had been existing before the rebellion.
I'm looking forward to reading your next blog entry!
