personal impression about "the hunger games"

For me "the hunger games" was the first book I read in english.
First I was a bit afraid of that, because reading, especially in english has never been a hobby of me.
Because of that, reading such a long novel was not easy for me at the beginning.
But after a wihle it was easier to understand what the book is about. For me the best strategory was to read a few chapters every day. So you have enought time to understand everything, which is mentioned in the book.
Usually I do not like fantasybooks but "the hunger games" is a very interessting story because it is about different topics like huntig, fighting and a lovestory.
But I thought that the lovestory would be a bit different. In in my opinion it would be better if Gale would have been Katniss boyfriend.
Anyway "the hunger games" is a nice novel, wich earns its succsess.
