The five most important things in "The Hunger Games"
- In my opinion the first and most important thing in the book are the Hunger Games themselves because they are the central point of the story and together with the hunger the medium of the capitol to control the folk.
- Secondly I'd like to mention is the capitol. It uses its power as the capital of all the districts to entertain the residents of the capitol, which is the richest district of all. They also play with lifes of the people from other districts.
- Next I have choosen the relationship between Katniss and Peeta. The relation between them is the second main issue in the book which makes it a fantasy and a lovestory at the same time.
- My fourth point is the mockingjay as a symbol between two districts and for rebellion. It is a bird which reminds Katniss of her home.
- Last but not least is the loaf of bread which is also like point four a symbol which stands for friendship but also in order not to interpret too much still the medium to fight aginst the hunger.
