There are many reasons why I don't want to live in Panem. Here are 10 of them.
1. The people of the district are very poor and must live in bad conditions.
2. Every year 23 children must die for the Hunger Games and you only can hope that you or your children will not be chosen.
3. There is no chance to get out of this system because if they rebel, they will die.
4. Panem hasn't got a democracy because President Snow is the only one, who has to say something.
5. Every district produce something and you could die at your job.
6.You can't be a child because you have to takte care for your family and you have to do everything to alive.
7.You can't escape from your districts.
8.You haven't got a chance to have a good future.
9.You haven't got the same rights like in real life.
10.Your chance to stay alive in the Huner Games is very small because there are 23 other tributes who wants to kill you.
Hello HB,
ReplyDeleteI really liked your list with arguments that show why you would not want to live in Panem. What I particularly liked was the 6th point you mentioned: You can't be a child because you have to care for your family and you have to behave like an adult. You have no chance of having a 'normal' childhood with a real home, playing on the streets and having a bloody knee as your biggest trouble instead of earning money to feed your family and keep them alive. I hope I can read more of your posts because I like your way of thinking!
Greetings, AA
HB,
ReplyDeletethanks to you, I can finally get a hang of the profits as well as the downfalls of Panem. Some think Panem is an utopian dream come true, but you have shown that, in fact, it has many flaws - just like Narnia or Middle Earth.
Cheers,
CHux
